Remember Jaydon's birthday? We promised him a trip to the SEA Aquarium as a present and so off we went on a rainy Sunday morning! Managed to pre-booked the tickets at a cheaper price thanks to Madeline :) We decided to take 188R so that we do not have to change at any train station. We also have some meal voucher so we ate some food at Malaysia Food Street before it is time for:
The first tank got us mesmerized for quite a while because there were many different kind of fishes around but not very pretty afterall it is a shipwreck
The next tank got me and Jaydon very excited cos it is under our feet!!! He was so engrossed, we end up blocking the way and I had to try my best to drag him away
Next stop that took us awhile - Touch Pool. Boyfriend and I admitted that we would not have stop at the Touch Pool if we came by ourselves so, it was a rather good experience. We touched different starfishes and the empty shell of shark's egg.
Shall just post more photographs of what we saw
this dolphin is way too cute! |
And then it was the truly huge tank. Boyfriend was pointing out the very very big ray for me and I was going "Where? Where? Where??"
Jaydon decided to spend his money to get a penny from the Aquarium even though we asked him to think through it for a long time. Because we knew he will still want to get other things later and he was only given $3. But because he was so persistent (and just wanted to spend his money for the sake of spending) we decided not to buy him any things later.
Here's a group picture of us. Quite a mistake cos I asked a random auntie to take (no choice, at that moment only uncles and aunties walking pass)
After walking for so long, I finally found my favourite tank because it is so colorful!!! We all took turn to take photos :))
The last segment were sharks but I didn't managed to capture any nice photos. Ending with a group photo (this time I found a young guy with a DSLR).
